Newmarket GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in the Tannery Centre on Davis Drive East in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Barrie line train service, and is 3 km east of the Newmarket Bus Terminal.
It should not be confused with the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal, which is at Davis Drive West and Eagle St. and is a stop for GO Bus and York Region Transit services.
The station is served by five trains heading southbound to Toronto each workday morning, and five trains heading northbound to Barrie in the afternoons. No train service is currently provided on weekends or holidays.
In addition to this, the ticket office at Newmarket GO Station sells tickets exclusively on weekdays between 6:05 am and 7:50 am. This is the specific time period when the southbound Barrie - Bradford GO Trains reach Newmarket. The exception to this is on the last two work days of each month, when the station sells tickets between the hours of 17:50 and 19:15 to accommodate riders purchasing monthly passes for the following month. At other times of the day, the only other location to purchase GO bus or train tickets is at the GO Agency in the Newmarket Bus Terminal, which has extended hours.
